Palcon Systems has led numerous teams in the design and construction of state-of–the-art food and fresh-cut processing facilities, both large and small, some processing as much as 3 million pounds of product per week. Most of these facilities are refrigerated and have specialized systems to handle waste, often conveying it hydraulically or pneumatically to an isolated area where it is processed and loaded onto trucks for reuse. Additional systems are designed for compressed air, chilled make-up water, wastewater treatment, forklift battery charging, and high-pressure sanitation stations. Interior finishes and processing equipment are designed to resist highly corrosive environments and conform to FDA, USDA, and SQF standards.

After identifying your needs, we create conceptual drawings representing the proposed layout. Once approved, we produce AutoCAD drawings showing the recommended equipment selections and utility connections for the bidding process. We manage this entire process through start-up to ensure the line is performing to expectations.
We manage all size projects from the design phase through installation and start-up. By working independently or assisting your team, we will identify your needs, establish performance criteria, and design and install a system to meet those criteria. Upon project completion, we remain in close contact with plant personnel to ensure the system is performing up to design standards.
The goal of these programs is to increase our Clients' profitability by identifying underlying opportunities for improvement that will create a more efficient and safe process, and then implementing those improvements.We accomplish this by eliminating waste, increasing yield, improving product quality, creating "smoothness" of product flow, and reducing line downtime. Continuous Improvement Programs are designed to be a long-term arrangement whereas an Efficiency Tune-up can be a single day visit.
